While I don't want to come across like a film snob, there is a special place in hell for morons who hate films because they're 'too old'. Tell her I said she's a silly cow.

I didn't tell her the cow comment, but I did tell her that a member of the Sega forum I'm on said there is a special place in hell for people who don't like things because they're too old. Her response was, "Well, at least I'd be there with my husband." They're watching Who Am I? next. If they don't like this one, they may never take one of my movie suggestions again.

I really loved the original Wicker Man. Need to see the Nick Cage remake, altho I hear it's a shitshow. Watched Midsommer couple months ago, I enjoyed it. Definitely some Wicker Man vibes/inspiration.

I loved the werewolf special fx in Bad Moon. Looked incredible to me when it came out. I've come close to watching Dog Soldiers a million times, but I always changed my mind at the last minute. I'll have to remedy that.

A guilty pleasure of mine as far as wolf flicks is the Howling 5. Most reviews I've seen of it they give it incredibly low scores, and probably deservedly so, but I find it has some strange quality to it that I find enjoyable. It's schlock, but the pacing, atmosphere, and cast of characters just have kind of a cozy feel to it. Probably because a lot of it is in a dark spooky castle. But that might just be my own weird tastes. I guess it was just going to be a random standalone werewolf movie, but they ended up slapping the Howling title on it. Anyway I dont think I've ever heard anyone else praise this movie, so I'll go ahead and give it a shout out.

I like all the Howling films myself LOL You must watch Dog Soldiers I'm not sure if most will get the British with bit its a class film and the Bob Keen werewolves are the best since Rob's in the 1st Howling.
Speaking of Bob Keen I watched Krull the other night an overlooked and underrated gem of a film with a fantastic setting, wonderful bunch of characters, great effects and one of the best music scores ever

Always wanted to see this one, especially after playing through Silent Hill 1-3. Scary (I’m pretty easy to scare) but very interesting and I might rewatch to see if I missed any foreshadowing.
