High Score Club - Week Three: Truxton

I figured we'd get things started this week with a Genesis classic!

We're looking for score here on a single credit, on normal play. The game resets your score when you continue, so that's why only a single credit can be used.

Acceptable Methods of Play:

- Emulation

I hate it how this game throws enemies up your ass from nowhere at this stage. Skill got nothing to do with it, its all about memorizing patterns. I hate that.

Lol, I played some serious Truxton the other day and got distracted by unexpected company. I shut off the Genesis and then remembered that I didn't get my score.

Can't believe i've never noticed this section before .

I love high score comps, but unfortunately i don't have this game (yet), and i refuse to use emulators to play anything other than C64/Speccie games, so i can't join this comp .

How often do you choose new games? and whats up next?

EDIT: Just looked at the date of the first post. 3 years is quite a long time to have a high score comp running lol.

You should check out shmups.com. There are people there who can regularly 1CC (one credit complete) games like this.
