I just want to say thanks again to omp and everyone that made these service manual dumps possible. I'm not able to always keep tabs on what comes up for sale, but if any more Sega service manuals surface I will gladly donate money again so that the community can keep and share them.
(it breaks my heart a little that someone is hoarding the Sega CDX service manual that surfaced on eBay in 2016). I encourage anyone to send me a PM if more of these surface.

Thanks to the generous work of omp and the rest of the community I was able to recently repair some extremely damaged systems with these service manuals:

    • Sega CDX (x2)
    • Sega Genesis model 1
    • Sega CD model 1
    • Sega Genesis model 2

these were all repaired in the past two weeks, let alone all the things that I've been able to repair over the past few years. It really is like gold to have them uploaded here

I found the Mega Drive model 1 service manual. It has tons of info, way more helpful than the model 2 in many ways. I uploaded and linked that, along with:

    JVC X eye
    Amstrad Mega PC
    Laseractive

and other info onto the GameSX TechWiki:

    https://gamesx.com/wiki/doku.php?id=...chematics#sega

And while you're over there, consider giving the forum some love. Its a great site, run by a competent fellow modder whos been around for decades (NFGman):
    https://nfggames.com/forum2/

Im on a mission to get more tech peeps to that forum so it will be my top priority for guides and updates by yours truly.

Which one do you mean, the PAL-G Maintenance Manual? I'm fairly sure that one comes from the 2013 scans.

man, it's been 6 years already, I need to get my scanner out.

I began drawing a schematic of Nomad a while ago but only ever mostly completed one part, some of LCD interface and none of the CPU board. I'm not really making much progress on this so here we go :

Tiido, youre a madman and I LOVE it

    attached here for preservation.

Im curious to know more about the LCD timing IC. No info exists AFAIK. Also, if theres enough interest maybe later I can convert this into a proper CAD file (although TmEE CAD has its definite charms )

Does anyone have access to schematics for PowerPc Macintosh machines? I have some programming books and others not OCRd (about 500 pages per gigabyte) if someone wants to trade. Looking for any other useful texts too (e.g. programming, reverse engineering software, etc).
