I know, sad thing I can't get around, without having direct hardware capture of each instrument individually.

Cause I do love the music a lot, and would love to be able to make a perfect sounding mix (not a remix, just a new mix).
Customized Sega Genesis Model 1 - VA3. Energy efficient with buck converters instead of LM7805's.

    Same here!
The Mega Drive was far inferior to the NES in terms of diffusion rate and sales in the Japanese market, though there were ardent Sega users. But in the US and Europe, we knew Sega could challenge Nintendo. We aimed at dominating those markets, hiring experienced staff for our overseas department in Japan, and revitalising Sega of America and the ailing Virgin group in Europe.

Then we set about developing killer games.

Really glad to finally see this NTSC version ! Really an achievement imo
You also greatly improved the size of the 3D rendered objects, impressive to see that big cube rotating a 60 FPS ! Well done guys !

Watched the demo on my EverDrive-MD v3 and something strange happened... My Genesis got up and started dancing!! I was so flabbergasted that I fumbled with my camera and couldn't take a picture in time for proof. Sorry, maybe I'll catch it next time.

Thanks for uploading this demo! Mindblowing what our favorite 16-bit system can do, but I'm also not surprised

These effects in project md game with it's already 4+ scroll layers = classic. You guys need to link up, it would be like Treasure 2.0. Yeah call yourselves Treasure 2.0 aka Titan and release Project MD : Overdrive

What is the audio sample rate for music and "Tiiitttaaan" ? Also great job on using ALL genesis colors at once, too bad $ega at their own $tudio in$titute couldn't do it then.

Game design, is a lot more than just fancy effects. You could be the best coder and put all the coolest tricks/fx in your game, but a shallow game is.. still shallow. There are plenty of 'tech' games through out history. Good FX needs to be paired with good game design. Good game design, IMO, is a lot harder to pull off that almost ~any~ graphic or audio FX/candy.

Treasure games aren't just great because of their FX; the games themselves are great.

How did they get this demo to work on 60HZ?

I'm sure some blood, sweat, and probably a decent amount of cursing. Sprinkled with a little bit of magic, to make it go down easier.

    Of course.

But Project MD looks great so far already too, so does this fx demo pushing md to limit...now imagine them perfectly combining.
