    Hi I'm here again with a new update of the rom.
    Now all the movements of the guards are complete, shooting, walking, chasing, and can also kill the player, now it's a game!.
    I have also fixed some errors, for example in the animation of the weapon/hands, by mistake, skipped the frame1 (passed from frame 0 to 2), is now corrected.
    I also optimized a little sprite drawing routine, now is 38 cycles per column faster.
    Here is the new version:

    Amazing work. I can't believe that a single fan ported this in their spare time.

    Amazing work indeed!
    @gasega68k
    You should make a video with this uptaded version, just to show everybody how awesome you and the Mega Drive are.

    Legendary stuff here. Can't believe how well it's running on a stock Mega Drive without being a blocky mess like on the SNES.
    Also, congrats on the optimization. IDK, looks like it's noticeably smoother when turning around.

    I've been holding myself from downloading any of the previous updates until it is complete or near complete. I have the feeling this is getting close.

    Can you give us details about how you managed to do it? Do you think you'll be able to optimize other important routines?

    Same here. I've been putting off playing it, but have been keeping my eye on this project. I played the latest build the other day, and wow - very impressive to say the least. Great job

    I'm sure the final version is coming next, but this beta6 is epic, lol the scream that the guards make is great, their sidesteps are no match for me !, none of the sound fx or music are bad, great graphics, simply great. You are the md indie programmer of the year for this.

    Missing the dogs though. Chillys 32 x version looks better overall graphically with more colors, scrolling, scaling, zooming, less pixely but you know, it's running off a 32 x. Your version looks GREAT just running off a genesis (almost as good as Chillys 32 x version which is a "16 bit" and color difference) though and the sound (sound fx, music) are way better than Chillys 32 x port. (You even have music on stages !)

    Pictures don't show the difference as good as seeing on hardware (title screen has less color than chilly version, more pixels in shadow), there are slight graphic color differences. Left is 32 x, right is genesis. Overall amazing, as they look close.

    I can't wait for the final release.

    Genesis version runs in a bigger window hahaha.

    I really don't like the vertical dithering trick, there should be an option for plain colour I wouldn't mind the big pixels, or, at least, regular checkerboard dithering.
