Default New Mega Drive-release by 1985alternativo... UWOL - Quest for money

The guys at 1985alternativo struck again and are planning to release another game on cartridge for our trusted old Mega Drive consoles.
Similar to their previous release "Oh Mummy" it'll be a port of a game originally released for home computers. Though this time it'll be a homebrew game from 2009: "UWOL - Quest for money" was originally released in 2009 for the ZX Spectrum, ZX 81 and Commodore 64 home computers. The Rom is available as freeware, but 1985alternative are now offering (in cooperation with the original developers, The Mojon Twins) a physical cart release complete with box and manual. There was a first, very small edition that's already sold out, but a second print will follow soon and can now be preordered over at fasebonus (warnin, site in spanish only):

Here's some footage of the rom of the game in action:

Why didn't they inform people about this in their newsletter?

This is awesome news! I will certainly purchase a copy, even though I already have it on cart. It's fantastic to see another new Genesis / Mega Drive homebrew project come to life!

Looks good. Looks fairly easy? And it looks pretty short, if the goal is to get to the first step of the pyramid?
    Anyway great job on this!

No it is not!!! You start at the top of the pyramid and make your way to the bottom but don't believe it is over then.....

Oh, man, on the Genesis now, too? I figured it had reached its pinnacle with the C64 version. Now I don't know which to get. That C64 sound rocks.

Let us know if/when you hear back from them.

I emailed a couple days ago and haven't heard anything.
Also surprised I've never gotten a newsletter email since I purchased from them before.

I wrote to them and got a reply (in English, even). I paid for the game today. Shipping to Sweden is around nine euros. It better arrive in a panzer tank to justify that cost.

Good game. I've had it on rom workable on my flash cart for years although it has some fuzzy lines going thru it.

I won't purchase this one for what they did with "Oh Mummy"

I have received no answer either. That's very weird.

Emailed them on the 28th, and haven't heard anything back yet. Not to worry; it's only been a few days. Keep in mind, these guys do projects like this as a hobby. Releasing a finished homebrew game on cartridge takes an unbelievable amount of time, capital, and sheer will. Certainly, we should expect a proper response and a product worth paying for, but remember - these guys have real lives, with families and jobs. They work incredibly hard to overcome the odds to support a hobby that we're all passionate about. Hats off for that.
