Thumbs up A perfect stocking stuffer for Genesis fans this holiday season

And as a bonus, it's a combo pack bookazine. The other half contains the SNES! Looks to be 200 pages long, with 100 devoted to each classic system. I ordered mine already and can't wait to read it!

BTW, it is 90% reprints of previous Retro Gamer Magazine issues... but if you don't have many or any of the RG issues, then this "reprint" will be no issue to you as it might as well be a first print run

Looks damn sexy to me! Can't wait to get my copy

Very cool, do they do a top 100 Genesis list and write their opinion on non popular but great games or mention newer stuff like Mega Everdrive for those unaware ? That's cool it's a genesis/snes magazine, they are "synonymous" imo.

Well, I should have specifically said Mega Everdive.

Heh, that is awesome. I noticed they have the Mega CD retroinspection in there but not the 32X. I wonder if they finally noticed all of the factual errors in the 32X retroinspection and decided not to reprint it, or if they just hate the 32X too much to reprint it.

Is this issue available now? Can this issue be purchased at a local Barnes and Noble bookstore in the US or is it directly from the publisher in the UK?

Wait wait wait, is this an actual book? or just fucking digital shit?

"Bookazine" ? magazine but book form?

Just want to know for sure, because this one and the Atari book seem mighty nice to reading during those cold winter evenings.

It's a book. I own quite a few like this. I'll grab a copy in the next few days from my local WHSmiths and post pics if anyone wants to see it.

Wonder why they're using Genesis for the title?

Because "Genesis" is still a pretty jawusum name despite the rest of the world hemming and hawwing about it.

    But then I'm biased.

How could they not use the "Book of Genesis" Its far to tempting. Even though the name was not used outside of North America I'm sure anyone interested enough to buy it will already know that.
