They can call it the The Epic 6th Generation Deathmatch - Dreamcast vs PS vs Gamecube and what the hell add Xbox too!

I will also be posting PS1 games so we can see 5th gen polycounts compared to PS2/Dreamcast.

SegaAMD if you wanna say it was an early PS2 game, that would be fine and accurate.

Heres our first look at F1 Racing Championship for the PS2. The game does a pretty good job of using the PS2's capabilities:

    It is a PS1 game.

F1 Racing Championship is a very average game but its still using 40% of the PS2's power:

Also F1 Racing Championship was not developed by Video System. It was UbiSoft Shanghai, the credits are filled with Han names(with some Japanese and French/Dutch names):

I suggest you don't compare it to the Dreamcast version. This game on the Dreamcast is actually is another version of monaco grand prix on dc.monaco grand prix , f1 racing championship , racing simulation 2, racing simulation online is all the same game. Interesting feature of all those games on dc which is rare they used detail textures. Meaning they constantly multi texture the track with a detail texture and darken via multiply. Worse part the textures are not in DC format pvr but regular bmp ! . They didn't even try to be efficient. I even textured detail the track using a different bmp.

Both PS2 and DC versions of these games look hideous to me. PS2 blurry vaseline screen. DC needs better shadows as those cars look like they are floating on a wicker basket.

You obviously didn't even bother reading. I edited the detail texture/ fake bump map texture it's multiplying on the base texture to illustrate my point. Surprisingly the dc version is multi passing the ground to get detail texture also the car has an environment map( I edited that too).

DC version and ps2 version can't even be compared, DC version is just the three prior same games being resold under a different name..

I still believe that it will give us an idea, for example Turok Evolution in the PC version is inferior to the Xbox, it lacks many processing effects but as far as the geometry is basically the same, the xbox seems to be the leading platform for this game. i think the capture program you use in Dolphin should work in pc games too.

The comparison on the Monaco track will be interesting. sigh there are so many games and few testers, James Cameron Dark Angel probably pushes many polygons.

Why not just directly post instead of making an event of it?
