    Question

So I have an interesting one, Might and Magic III: Isles of Terra. The site Good Deal Games lists it for sale as an "English translated" Genesis/MD release, and after inquiring for details, they claim it is a regular cartridge (not a CD), and they're not sure who made/published it; all they know is they "picked up a handful of copies at a trade show in Ohio last summer".

The little I've been able to find is, this was originally a Japan-only SegaCD game, but there were plans for a standard MD port, and according to SegaRetro, a prototype cart has been found/dumped.

I haven't been able to find any info about anyone working to localize/release this, does anyone know anything about it?

They simply put on cartridge a prototype of the translated version of the game.
I never found someone stating that managed to play it until the end so error/crashes or other things might still happen.

It's also given as download on my portal for MegaDrive. Sorry the website is in english but is easy to find stuff.

Ok that's pretty much what I figured. Since someone had taken the time to translate it, I wondered if maybe they had also gone through and finished it, but if not then I agree it doesn't belong on the list.

Hello to all the SMD fans. We are working on a new port of the game Bone Marrow. At some point, we realized that it was simply not interesting to play this game and decided to radically refine the project. First, we added animation for the chips. Added AI to the enemy, now during the game you will not just be able to pin him in a corner and kill him. Now the enemy also takes turns with us. Collect items to become stronger and improve your health. Added night monsters. Normally, they could only be fought during the day. And at night we collected chips. So now the battle with some of the enemies takes place at night, while the enemies at night can become stronger than during the day. What else are we planning to add? In the original, the opponents beat each other at the same time, regardless of who moves. Now we want the one who walks to strike the blow. There are also plans to add spikes appearing on the field, falling floor slabs, puddles with acid. Various statuses, such as sleep, poisoning, and stun. You can also add perks to the game that the player can choose from. As well as the ability to unlock new chips. Below I attach a video of our game, since I can't create topics on this forum myself.

    Got a couple new ones:

Metal Dragon - Being ported from a homebrew for the MSX from a few years ago. According to the dev, preorders start in 8 days, so should probably be listed in "Upcoming Games"

    https://kai-magazine-software.fwscart.com/
    https://old.reddit.com/r/SEGAGENESIS..._metal_dragon/

VergeWorld - Not sure if this belongs in "Upcoming Games" or "Rumors and Further Out"; there was a playable demo released in October of last year, but their site has since gone offline (can post it if anyone wants it)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3Q9XSTjIWw - Commodore Amiga tech demo video
http://retrobones.com/ - Website down at the moment

ZPF - Apparently it's been in the works for 12 years, no dates announced, no kickstarter available, should probably be listed in "Rumors and Further Out". There is a "demo" available , but it's a PC game (not a ROM file)

Also, is zebbe still active on the forums? Noticed the list hasn't actually been updated in a few years now...

One more, since we're including completions of unfinished games, Columbus Circle released the unfinished 1994 game Mad Stalker: Full Metal Forth a few years ago. Also, Strictly Limited Games is now releasing their own version, too, for which they are currently taking preorders:

Another one: Attack of the Petscii Robots, originally developed by David Murray (8-bit-guy) for the C64, VIC-20, and PET, is being ported to the Genesis by Augusto Emanuel Santos. No date announced yet though:

    Hello everyone!
I finished porting "Echo of Dreams" game a while ago, and today I'm pleased to announce that the physical release is here. Anyone interested can get a copy now(but please read "known issues" chapter on the game page). At the moment the edition is limited to 5 copies, but I'll be able to make small editions from time to time.

    Cheers!

    Hello, a few things:
    1) Attachments on this forum are buggy and often don't work, you should link to the image/video directly
    2) Thank you for telling us about this game, it may be better to make a separate thread for a new release
    3) The "known issue" you have for non-TMSS consoles, have you tried playing it with a game genie (and just not entering any codes)? This is used as a bypass for non-TMSS compatible games such as Populous, Onslaught, and others

    Hello,
    1) Ok, I just didn't know this. Thanks for the hint
    2) Yes, it may be better, but I don't have enough messages, so I don't have this privilege yet
    3) Yes, Game Genie and Mega Key can be solution, but I haven't tried it myself. Thank you for reminding me about this method.

More than a big update. I've already got my pre-order in and been playing the digital ROM you also get when you purchase it on my EDx7. It is quite fun if your into these kinds of slower thinking type games. And Anders music converted to FM is quite impressive as well!
