    Genesis

8 games in 1 year? That's friggin ridiculous! How are you going to maintain the quality of each title by releasing all 8 games in the next 12 months? And do you think we're cash cows?

Having said that, I hope you're going to provide a long clip (at least 3 minutes in length) featuring the visuals and style of each game.

Speaking as a member of the SEGA-16 community, a 45 second video will no longer suffice! I'm kinda tired of seeing subpar games being released with the end goal to simply make a quick buck ...

THERE I FINALLY SAID IT! NO MORE SHITTY GAMES!

By having more than one dev, I'd surmise

For some reason I don't feel like mincing my words anymore. So my honest opinion is as follows ...

With respect to 8bitrevolution's latest releases, Germ Squashers was NOT a great title. Very very rudimentary and not a fun title in the least ...

I watched the short clip and saw it for what it was ... a quick cash grab. Nope, I might be a SEGA Genesis fan but I did not waste my money on that title. Doing so, would encourage more subpar games to be released. And I am NOT going to support that!

Lol, no, I'm not going to provide any clip at all.
I didn't make those games after all, only share what I found.

As far as I know, the only progress they share on their Facebook page is Viking Democracy.
The game is like Super Smash Bros with many Viking-themed unique character.
But still no game play video, only a video of character doing his/her special move.

Germ Squashers was a direct NES port, and a casual arcade game. The new ones are targeting Genesis directly, and are much larger games. I can't say much, but Viking supports four players with a multitap, and it's pretty fun so far.

edit: I'll relay the request for longer gameplay vids.

Roce, about Ruthless Racer, is it a Genesis game or GBA game?
8Bitevolution page said it's a Genesis game, but MegaCatStudios page said it's a GBA game.

It's both, a Gen game that was ported to GBA, but I can't comment more, as it's an unreleased title.

Side remark, GBA is a really nice platform to dev on, resolution aside Gen games are really easy to port to it. It's an almost perfect superset. My favorite dev targets go something like Gen > GBA > NES, the three ones I've made games on. (Looking to get on Dreamcast, N64, SNES, WiiU sometime.)
