there's little point in emulating some games if there that are that old, the amount of time to code for someone to go that's nice, the first video game and then go back to their PlayStation, I can understand there's little point in space wars beginning emulated, I much prefer games like outrun keep preserved

Sonic Blast Man was a game where some guy hit it so hard he broke the screen and electrocuted himself, only joking

Man, I remember Sonic Blast Man! That was crazy fun.
It may no longer be the `90s, but there is still time for Klax.

There's also still a good number of beat 'em ups, a Godzilla fighter(Japan exclusive), and some really early titles, like Death Race, which was the first video game controversy, just to name a few more.

it depends whether they are any good and if there a good brand, Death race like mortal combat is this typical western developed I've got no ideas rubbish so lets add some extreme violence, I want games like outrun and out runners preserved, powerdrift, marble madness etc

^marble madness is a western developed game though
    it was developed by atari
so if anything you just showed western develoipers can manage with out added violence as well

course if it was developed these days the marbles would look like the balls from phantasm

Games that didn't run on microprocessors can't be emulated, early games like computer space ran on hard logic circuits.

No, it's unbiased analysis. The only fanboyism is people who claim that Hyperstone Heist and Bloodlines are actually as good as their SNES counterparts.

sorry that's a brilliant point as marble madness was developed by Atari, I wasn't meaning to have a go at western developers but feeling a bit annoyed when I see how Japanese's games have some grace to them where as western games seem to always go for a gore or sexual angle, tomb raider made more of a star out of lara croft than gameplay

I guess its still possible to convert them as close as possible, some clever guy will know how to extract the data from those hard logic circuits so what you convert is more or less the same

As mentioned in the article there's DICE (discreet integrated circuit emulator).

It can only do single board games so no Computer Space yet, but they're slowly making progress. Never say never.

Edit: I've had the privilege of playing Sega's Time Traveler. It was pretty terrible.
