Mario Kart and Fzero could be possible in Genesis, using the gasega68K graphical demo?

This is very impressive. Keep churning out cool stuff, man. This engine could be used in an actual game?

No, it's unbiased analysis. The only fanboyism is people who claim that Hyperstone Heist and Bloodlines are actually as good as their SNES counterparts.

That's what he stated, but a screen shot grabbed shows 96 lines as 'doubled' res of 48 for the rendered area.

Edit: Nevermind, he did mention it. The windows area takes a 256x96 area of the screen, but the lines are doubled and the pixels doubled too, 128x48 rendered resolution. That's all I was trying to figure out (trying to run some numbers). Also trying to compare it to PS demo (just the window size and rendered resolution).

And IIRC by using the Sega CD as a RAM expansion he wold be able to have the exact 256 KB he wanted, right?
Word ram would give a full block of 256KB. At the same time, if the CD 68000 is kept reset, he could also use the four banks of 128KB of program ram.

Would this file work on an EverDrive-MD v3? I'd really like to see this demo run on real hardware, but I don't have a Mega EverDrive.

Then we'll all have to upgrade to Mega EverDrives won't we? I've been meaning to do that anyway. So many awesome new developments for the Genesis and Mega Drive!

Hi, I made a video and also a new version with the "scroll" working well (towards any direction), but still has some minor errors.

The same with the NeoMyth - both the Myth and the EDMD use byte-wide save ram, which is where the black squares come from. Gasega68k could adjust for that type of save ram, but it would slow the drawing/transfer. How much would remain to be seen.

Another source of ram that could be used would be the SegaCD. You wouldn't even need to start it up, just reset the sub-cpu and request the bus.
