Can Sega-16 Beat the Last of the Genesis, Sega CD, & 32X Libraries in 2021?

I beat book 1 - 3 of Shining Force CD at Super Hard. Still the only really challenging battles were the final battles of book 1 and 2. The lack of a time/round limit and the ability to revive dead characters cheaply make the Shining Force games too easy. Also you always have money galore.

It's a good game, but overall I enjoyed Shining Force 1 + 2 more.
I played the game on the mega drive mini 2 (without savestates or in-game save scumming).
There's a hidden 4th book, which consists of only one battle, but alas I wasn't able to find the item required to access it. Since book 4 is a secret bonus that's not mentioned in the manual or story, I consider the game beaten by my standards.

Seconded! Very pleased to see movement on the Sega CD front. The Shining Force series is one I'm long overdue to spend some time with.

Great win. If you want to play Book 4 without much work just start again a new game with book 2 and play until battle 5 where you find it in the well. As your save already includes all other requirements Book 4 will show up now. So no need to play the whole game again.

As addition to Seingalts great win with Shining Force CD I played and finished Book 4 - The Museum on normal difficulty using a MD2 Mini without Save States.

I won an ebay-auction for "Shijou Saidai no Soukoban", the Japanese version of "Shove It!".
The game arrived on Wednesday and so far I've beaten the first three stages (out of 16). I absolutely love the game and would be surprised if I can't beat it in the coming weeks.
