Default What happened to the Mega Drive/Mega CD version of Total Carnage?

    Hi!

I never knew that a Total Carnage port was being prepared for both the Mega Drive and Mega CD back in 1993. And by Malibu (which had excellent developers) not Probe (responsible for the mediocre Super Smash T.V. we got).

This from the September 1993 issue of Sega Power:

Judging it by what the preview says, I think it's quite possible that the game has been finished and never released maybe due to publisher-side issues. Heck, Malibu still released several games for both platforms after 1993.

Does anyone know anything else about these versions?
I know that a Jaguar version was released a few years ago so I wonder if we could be graced with the same ending.

I saw in some forum a user selling the prototype of the Mega Drive version, but he said that the game had no sound.

OFF: Nice 6 Button layout. This button layout for the Super Smash TV would be awesome!!!

It wasn't dull as such but Smash TV on the Mega Drive was certainly a bad port of a very playable arcade game. It could have been soooo much better!
