    Genesis Psycatic Software's First Cartridge

Well finally I have some news from Psycatic Software!

In preparation for release, version 2.0 of the ROM is now available for free download from our website. Registration is required but we won't use your details for anything other than getting our games.

This version includes an online score board for those who are competitive, a few bug fixes, updated sound effects and a general tidy up of the code which should make it play a little nicer.

There will be a Supporter's Edition available next month which will contain all the extra features of the Collector's Edition. That's extra modes for Cosmic Invaders, LCD and LED, plus a two player mode for Invasion.

The Collector's Edition should be available for registered players from December, we will open reservations for this on our website shortly as the first run is going to be very limited.

Thank you to everyone who has played the free ROM so far I hope you enjoy version 2.0!

Great news! Is there any new information on the roguelike and cowboy titles you're also developing?

Yep, I've done most of the design plan for the next game "Wanted" (the wildwest adventure game), some of the graphics are done and some initial programming tests. I'll be pushing to get a working alpha as soon as "Invasion" is done and available in all its different versions (Free Download, Supporter's Download, Collector's Cart and Collector's CD).

Both the cartridge and megaCD will be a very small limited print run so we will be opening a reservation system on the website this week.

I'll post on here as soon as it is available.

Limited Collector's Editions - Reservations are now open!

I am pleased to announce that the reservation system for our games is now open. This will be a very limited print run so we are limiting customers to one copy each. There are reservations open for a region free physical cartridge in EU case and packaging and also a MegaCD in EU packaging which will contain 3 discs, one for each region.

To reserve your copy you will need to register on our website, just click the "login" button and then "register here". All details will be kept private and only used by Psycatic Software, we will not provide any of your details to any third party. You will need to provide a valid email address and postal address for shipping and you will receive a confirmation link in an email which you must activate in order to be able to login.

Once you are logged in you can download our new free version ROM and start playing right away. We have a new online score board too!

That's all for now but do check our website or facebook group for any news!

Reserved a cart and a CD. It's great that you only allow one copy per person. Resellers are the scum of the retro game scene.

Reserved both too and I couldn't agree more about resellers.
