Amazing, good find! What I really like is how he overcame all of the fiddly wires, power consumption issues and massive unweildy form factor with total discretion. He didn't of course, but I like that he ovdrcame them at all!

All he needs is to cram the CD add on in there and we have a viable portable on our hands here! You'd need a battery in ruck sack perhaps but it'd be fun to look like a ghost buster.

Yeah he did a fantastic job with this. I came across this by watching Nomad LED-LCD screen mod videos

Space Harrier is the only game worth playing? Seems like a lot of work just to play one game. Still, it's a great feat, and that LCD mod is gorgeous.

    Nice job!

I'd buy one of those "fully kitted" out Nomads.

yup, but it sure worked great. Unlike a lot of pre-fabed cases with their LED-modded backlights and questionable controls. There's a lot more to a good mod than a pretty case.
Of course, 12 years later I could make something a little better.

I was thinking the same thing.
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."

That is pretty crazy, and hard to imagine you built it over a decade ago.
