Yeah, that was awesome!
http://www.bbc.com/news/business-39640707The strongest markets for Senna products are Brazil, the UK and Italy.
Research conducted in 2015 by the Boston Consulting Group suggests Senna is in the same league as tennis superstar Roger Federer and basketball legend Michael Jordan in terms of product endorsement potential.
Another survey of Brazilian athletes who competed in last year's Rio Olympics - many of them too young to have seen Senna race - ranked him as their biggest source of inspiration, above past and present idols such as Neymar and Pele.
Thanks for posting those awesome vids![]()
May the 16bit power be with us
This video has an interview in English with Terry Fullerton (starts at 2:47), teammate of Senna during the kart racing days. It's hard to find any interview with Fullerton:
^It's because recently they posted this due to the 25th anniversary of Donington '93:
It's a very exciting topic for me, Brazilian.
This guy is a real hero to us.
I was still very young, I remember, having 2 posters on my wall, one era from the legend Bruce Lee, and the other from Ayrton.
I also remember that Monaco GP was my first game on Mega Drive, me and my little brother played every day, the physics and graphics of this game are impressive and never grow old.
My last good memory of the champion was his difficult victory at Interlagos, it was very impressive.
Barone and sirs, great photos and videos to remember.
I think this guy shows once again what kind of impact Senna had in Japan at the time:
Senna was an obsession as a kid, i loved watching him race and in my neck of the woods at the time, it wasn't easy to catch a race. I was devestated when he passed. i spent way too much time as a kid playing my genesis and game gear versions of senna racing. awesome videos!
