Default Buying a Model 3 Board

    Hello everyone,

I was wondering if it is possible to purchase a Sega arcade board. I don't really want the cabinet with the ancient CRT, just the board. Specifically, I'd love to play real Sega Super GT again. If it is possible, would I be able to connect something to control it with and a way to display the video and audio output?

I know next to nothing about this except that some people have *tried*. Googling doesn't appear to turn up much helpful information either unfortunately.

You will need a power supply capable of 3.3v output, Model 3 uses its own IO board with molex connectors for controls, video, audio and power, some IO boards have a VGA port that will let you use not only an arcade monitor but any PC display capable of displaying 24khz signals.

For driving games you'll need a Sega driving panel and pedals, so you'll need to salvage them from an actual Sega cabinet. no other way around this.

You're going to need a Jamma and PSU for starts. It's not something you can just set on the coffee table, like a CPS setup.
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."

    Ok, so I will need:

-A JAMMA SuperGun that will provide video and audio output to the TV.
-The Sega Super GT arcade PCB. (Like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SUPER-GT-scu...3D151795708447 )
-The custom PSU for the Sega Super GT PCB
-Lastly, the steering wheel, pedals, and buttons for Sega Super GT.

Is it possible to track all these things down?

This page also appears to have accurate info: http://www.engadget.com/2006/11/28/h...n-arcade-game/.

If this works, this could be awesome.

Maybe, with a ton of scouring.
