Wisdom Tree Sega Genesis Collection Release

Pledged for a limited edition copy. Left church and became an atheist when I was 15, but the fiction stories of the bible are surely of my taste anyway (especially if they are in the form of games), so this should be fun!

A game is a game, so if it is Christian Themed or something else, still is made to make people have fun hehe =D

If we reach 75K, we will port Super Noah's Arkd 3D, and let me tell you, we already had a demo of the game, just a matter to reach the stretch!

That port of Super 3D Noah's ark for the Genny sounds very appealing. Hope you can get to that 75 thou mark at least.

I haven't, but I watched the AVGN reviews of them. I think there was one game where your mission was to collect "male cows" . The games don't look too good, but Piko usually improves his games, perhaps the same will happen will these?

For this project we are aiming mostly to re-release it on a Plug and Play as they were (well their latest versions). Targeted to the Christian Audience (there is not really any video games for Christian libraries etc right now; well there is one Ocarina of Zelda like actually.) The NES and Genesis carts are a nod to the fans that email the Wisdom Tree Website on a weekly basis.

However;

Super Noah's Ark 3D Genesis and Dreamcast would be developed from ground up, making sure they are of good quality.

So by supporting the Genesis Multicart, you might get a nice newly developed game; and let me tell you, we already have a demo for SNA3D, if we get close to the stretch goal, we'll show it.

Yeah, or having exodus/spiritual warfare on current gen or steam.

You got to give some credit, Bible Adventures sold over 100K copies on Christian libraries, so there is still a ton of people that cherish WT games and see them with a nostalgia eye; as they were not allowed to play other games back then.

To be fair Super Noah's Ark is a pretty good game, and a pretty damn good workaround on keeping FPS mechanics without making it a slaughterfest... just make sure that animals can't hit you from a room across, they aren't holding guns! =P

Definitely lol The game was much more balanced on the HD version made by Blutz; Genesis would be made by a pretty known person in the community =D

I am also thinking of making tools to completely modify spiritual warfare and release them as a semi-open source for people to make Sega Genesis Zelda Style games.

Very cool, I will keep an eye on this for sure. It would be nice to have a single multicart with all the WT Genny games, then I probably wouldn't feel obliged to get the originals at the crazy prices they currently command

Yeah Bible Adventures is getting crazy! Even Spiritual Warfare saw it at Half priced books for like 45 bucks cart only the other day.

I would totally buy a copy of Noah's Ark 3D, that was a fun game.

Might actually have to boot it up on the ol' dos machine.
