That was a remarkably honest salesman you got. At first I thought it was going to involve you getting stuck with a TurboGrafx-16 for years before finally getting a Genesis. Instead you got a good month to try two other systems and then ended up with a hell of a deal with the Genesis. Lucky too that you didn't get Sonic the Hedgehog 2 straight away. I played the sequel first and I think that kind of ruined the original for me when we played it afterwards. I still enjoyed it but not as much as I think I would have if I hadn't played the superior sequel first.
