    Master System Global Defense

Sega wowed arcade gamers with SDI, a trackball-based shooter that had them defending the planet from enemy attack. The game was soon ported to the Master System, and while several compromises had to be made for it to work on the less-powerful hardware (and with a controller), the conversion turned out surprisingly well. It's one that's worth checking out. Read the full review for more details.

Does anyone know if the Master System trackball controller works with this game?

Control pad 1 moves the firing cursor, control pad 2 moves the satellite, and firing is automatic, so one person can use both controllers.

Later stages of the game only become manageable with an emulator and setting up a twin stick like system with a button config. Once the action speeds up the default control method is not up to the task. I had to scum save states to beat this on twin stick, if anyone beat this legit they are super human !

Played as a high score Atari style game though there is fun to be had, personally I would drop it down a mark to 6.
