Saturn Let's appreciate the best weapon based fighter of the 32 bit era

This pic is a year old and kinda crappy but my Last Bronx Poster on the wall next to me.

I took one of the stickers from the game and put it on my Arcade stick and bought the Soundtrack a couple years ago on CD. Had this game a few years and love it. Don't get me wrong Fighting Vioersm,, Megamix, VF and such are great but I feel this game is often overlooked even for SEGA fans. So this topic is for people to appreciate it!

Life!? ... What console is that on?

I like this game, but after playing Soul Calibur it just doesn't cut it the same (pun realised, and kept in ), although it is fun to have on the Saturn.

Well, Calibur didn't come till after the 32-bit era. Soul Edge is the only game around the same time.

That's true, and would agree that these two titles are on par.

there is no doubt for me that last bronx is one of the best fighting games period. thing is you need tremendous dedication and time to master this game. if you want to get an idea about how amazing this game is go to watch mode on the hardest difficulty and check the cpu battles. simply amazing.

It ran on a souped up PSX in the arcades.

And on consoles you already had Soul Edge.

My fav 3rd Weapon fighter and also the Saturn port was incredible and much better than Tekken 3 port IMO . Stunning High Res visuals 60 fps, motion blur and up to 4 scaling backgrounds (compared to Tekken 3 single) and the music on the 2nd stage (Tears Bridge) is amazing too

Mind you my fav weapon fighter of all time is SNK's SS III on the Neo/Saturn
    Panzer Dragoon Zwei is
one of the best 3D shooting games available
    Presented for your pleasure

Only thing I don't like about Last Bronx is how the wall around the stage doesn't properly fill the screen, you see the parts appearing at the edges. Very minor, but distracting.

Soul Edge was called Soul Blade over here and it was superb! Still one of the best fighting games ever made imo.

Megamix and Vipers also had it. It's a speed saving measure, they get culled by clipping.

And it is just as distracting in those games
