Is it a good idea to announce a new project when the Paprium thread is boiling like a witch's cauldron and people occupy the post office in wait for Tanglewood and Xeno Crisis (well, at least I do)? Probably not. But I'll do it anyway
.
I started working on it in my spare time in 2016 and it has been going quite well. Development will continue for at least two more years. While most of the graphics are done, the animations are not (they will probably be done in about a year). I try to do most of the development myself, but some others will help me with things I can't do, later. I have already received lots of help from a few forum members (dare I mention your nick names?
) I have pretty much never drawn pixel art before, so this is a big learning experience, and so is handling a project by myself.
So, what's the game about? It's a Gauntlet/Dungeon Explorer style game in an anachronic fantasy setting with a comedy theme. There will be two playable characters to play as in five main towers, a huge overworld, a hub town and a few sidequest caves. I mention progress of the game development on my blog, whenever I update it (about once per month). See here: https://zebulog.wordpress.com/
Here is some graphics for you to see. They will be updated, later.
Take care and thanks for checking in.
