Question Strange pricing in Amazon seller

Hey I'm just curious for some opinions. I don't know this seller.

He does have good feedback though. I bought a relatively small item from him for a good price. (Bought it today.)

Then I started looking at his products and pricing is all over the place, from reasonable to nonsense.

I understand unopened items being higher priced but some of his items makes no sense.

Used Light Crusader CIB for $50: OK.

    Unopened Sonic 3 for $400? Well, it's a collector's item, I guess, since it's unopened...

What seems nonsense is selling a used Genesis model 1 for $65...

    A used Model 2 Genesis for $130...

A used Saturn with a bunch of accessories for $260?

I'm actually guessing the seller is unfamiliar with common pricing? Some items are cheap lol.

What do you think of this seller's pricing? Is he just kind of clueless?

It looks like he's trying to use the Netlink and keyboard as the reason for a higher price. I believe the official "Netlink Edition" Sega Saturn draws some fairly high prices.
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."

I actually meant to link to his general page, not specifically his Saturn.

I guess the Genesis units are what really don't make sense to me. How could a used Genesis be worth 130.

He seems honest though, maybe just doesn't understand certain pricing, I guess.

I'm thinking that he's exploring what he can get away with. This Genesis A/V cable isn't worth $35.

Yeah, I see a lot of crazy, unreasonable, and inconsistent prices on the net. I usually just toss it up to a seller either not knowing better, or being overly ambitious.

I just assume these types of sellers get their prices from their local CraigsList.

Just to be fair, I'll just say that I received the small item I bought for $30, and it's as-described, so I'm perfectly happy with my purchase.

I think I will ask him about some of his prices that don't seem to make sense lol.

You know what, I just emailed him to tell him that the Genesis prices are crazy, but then I realized that he is selling the Genesis as a package deal, with games and other things included.

In which case, he can charge whatever he wants for a package deal.

So maybe his pricing is more a case of misunderstanding that he was selling package deals instead of an individual Genesis unit.

Here are some of his Genesis' for sale:
