    Genesis 30 Years of Nintendon't - A Genesis/Megadrive game to celebrate its 30th birthday!

Today is the 30th birthday of our beloved Genesis / Megadrive!

To celebrate it, here is a new Genesis / Megadrive game titled "30 Years of Nintendon't".

As a Sega evangelist, you'll have to convince players to leave their NES console and avoid the SNES because "Genesis does what Nintendon't". How much market share can you earn thanks to your knowledge of the Megadrive / Genesis library?

You can play the game online or download the game ROM here :

This game is born of my love of the original "Genesis Does What Nintendon't" ads campaign. I really think they are the best video game ads ever created, and the perfect illustration of the "SEGA Spirit" during the 90's. So, such a project wouldn't be complete without a test on a real console (my model 1, with 50hz/60hz switchless mod):

I hope you'll enjoy the game!

I just gave it a try directly on the site. It's a decent concept for a mini-game, but it seems a little too fast; you don't have any time to look at the options if you want to get your market share up. It'd also be nice to have more match-ups. Seems I kept getting FFVI VS PSIV, Road Rash VS. Excite Bike, etc.

    Thanks Jules for your feedback!

The game is designed to be quite challenging, but every 3 good answers in a row, you'll get an extra 5 seconds - so to reach 100% market, you need to make many "3 good match-ups in a row".

I'm sorry if the randomness didn't get you more variety on your attempt: there are a total of 30 different Genesis games (and 30 NES/SNES games too) in the game!
