Tenso.com is very reliable, i used it a lot in the past for sport equipement coming from japan to france.

It seems just about everybody shipping goods from Japan recommend using Tenso nowadays (the cosplayers definitely do it, though they've been also offering downloadable versions of their discs too :​P)

Look up Rhythm Heaven and you'll get a pretty solid idea.

The concept looks quite original for a retro machine, as rhythm game got popular way after the MD .
The graphics looks beautiful, especially on the 16 bit version.
