Default Black Baron MD - Homebrew Game

Not sure what you call it, a translation from a Game Book to a Mega Drive game.

You, Black Baron, are imprisoned in the castle dungeons of
your arch-enemy White Warlord. You must use all your
cunning to survive. Beware the Warlord’s deadly tricks, solve his
mind-boggling riddles, seek out his treasures. You may yet live
    to avenge your honour!

This is based on Book 1 of the Combat Heroes books written by Joe Dever and illustrated by Peter Parr.

I’ve used GINCS to make this as close to the book as possible using the original drawings from the 1985 book. Start with 30 endurance points and see if you can complete the game and get a final level of Victory depending on your endurance points at the end.

Link to the ROM, tested on various emulators and Everdrive.

Cool, I'd probably play a way of the tiger conversion.

    Awesome!

Can GINCS do anything slightly complex like random number generation to simulate dice rolls?

GINCS has no inbuilt math functions so no random number generation.

So how did you keep track of the Endurance stat?

Looking forward to playing this later!

With a lot of repeat code and using triggers been turned on and off and using if and if not statements. Not sure GINCS was supposed to be used like this.

I made another game that did not keep track of endurance but needed a timer implemented so I had to find a way to get it to work which got me thinking about tracking a value. Almost cheated and made the endurance 20 to keep lines of code down.
