    Is it?

I didnít think that Blaze held a candle to the original.
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."

Heh. These two responses basically sum up what I've heard about the game. I've been slowly acquiring the games in this series as I come across them, but I have yet to find the first one at a price I'd be willing to pay. I wanted to start with that one.

Nice! Which games did you get?

A friend of mine was cleaning out her garage and gave me these:

I decided to take L.A. Noire despite owning it on PS3 because I assumed it would be better on 360, but after a little research, it sounds like the PS3 version might be better. Anyone have experience with both versions?

Body Harvest is one of the few N64 games I went out of my way to purchase CIB.

And to this day, Iíve never played it.

I grew up on that game. Not even sure how I managed to own it. I used to watch starship troopers and then play body harvest.

My copy of Battle Garegga (they didn't charge sales tax for some odd reason) finally arrived from Limited Run Games. I also picked up a couple of 3DS games that are on sale at Target for $15, along with Stranger Things (BR) for $10.

Just out of curiosity, did you play all the other ďNewĒ SMB games? #2 was the only one I felt like they phoned in, so Iím curious how you felt about the DS, Wii or WiiU versions...

I struggle to see what people see in those games. Bland art. That horrible annoying "bah bah" music. They control like they are on a ice level all the time. I only played the DS one and the Wii U one because it came with the Wii U. It just seems if Nintendo/Mario was not stamped on them they would be seen as from bad to mediocre platformers.

I went thru the original DS Version 100% as well. They sold a ton of copies and I can see why as it was a very enjoyable experience from start to finish. I played around with the Wii U version and was fine with that also but the portable games just drew me in more. Honestly I loved the art, music and style of the games. It's hard for me to say anything really negative about it when the core thing being the game play was so well polished.

@Segata: Careful now broski. People might start thinking you're not a Nintendo fanboy!
