Default Phantasy Star Online 2 is officially getting a Xbox One release date in 2020

Hell has frozen over. Phantasy Star Online 2 is actually getting a western release date in 2020. The game was originally released in 2012. That equals 8 years late for a western release. Ohhh the horror.

Also, PC which is where I will play again. My old Laptop had it installed with the program that lets me play in English. Thought about reinstalling all that but I think I will just wait for this instead and start over.

Life!? ... What console is that on?

This really came out of left field, and I'm so excited for it. Hopefully we'll see the original via backwards compatibility soon to help drum up an audience.

At last, I gave up all hope . Incredible news and cross play too. We done SEGA.
It's like some of the old CSK magic is back at SEGA with the moves they've been making of late

I just hope the servers are linked. Whenever they're separate, the none Japanese version falls behind and becomes the neglected step child. If they're not linked, I'll be sticking to the JP version.

Whoa. That survey that Sega had a while back... I commented that I wanted this game released here. Wonder what else I'll convince them to do. Sucks that it's an Xbox One exclusive, but hey, it's free.

Speaking with GiantBomb, he said: “… and yes, it will end up on all platforms – that’s not the point. To me the point was to have SEGA back on our stage – it’s been awhile.”

Whew. I don't have to invest in a new computer or an Xbox One after all.

The original is one of my favorites, hope it happens! With 16 by 9 widescreen remastering...
