It sure has a better cover art than the western releases. But I'm more than enough with those and the fact that I had to purchase both versions.

…considering how it went when trying to buy Gley Lancer, erm, what's with this game and constantly picking up publishers that bring up headaches? (・~・)
Also it surely looks that this is going to be region locked (to Japan, that is).

I'll try to buy this version if Playasia's price is the original.

I would take a punt at it being part of the deal with LRG. Still, are you telling me you're not using a modded console? I'd have thought 99% of people using this forum would be.

I ended up pre-ordering from one of the scalpers on Amazon Jp as like with the last ColumbusCircle release, Gleylancer, I did not manage to bag an official pre-order due to their ridiculously small print run.

No one talks about this game in cartridge version anymore, the SLG company still exists ?
An innovative game on md/gs ? I vote for.

The way the game's releases have been handled (first the "built into Mega Sg" thing, then SLG's disaster, then Columbus Circle being… Columbus Circle) has pretty much left people so burned out that they probably don't want to talk about the game anymore. I didn't think it was possible to screw up a game's launch this hard, but here we are.

As is often the case, there must be a brain or two that does not work well in this ca$e

In the worst case scenario If people who pre-ordered the game and massively request (before 180 days after the payment date) a refund for unfulfilled orders, paypal could ban SLG because dishonest sellers kill the trust of Internet shopping.

Except they never did preorders, and the orders never went through in the first place (so nothing to refund). SLG is in the clear legally, I'm afraid.

You'd need to find out them having committed some sort of fraud regarding the number of orders or whatever (like one of themselves having ordered a large amount of copies), and I really doubt anybody could prove that (besides, it could have easily been just an unrelated scalper, so again SLG would be in the clear).

Uhm, did I miss anything on SLG?
I preordered a copy of Ultracore on their website, and I'm waiting for news of the actual release.
    Is there something wrong?

Most people got screwed out of a copy (at least for the US version) because somebody picked up all the copies before most people could finish the checkout. Apparently SLG didn't impose any item limit so it was easy to pick up the entire stock at once if you had the money for it.

Well I would still be interested in a rom if they release it that way. The only people benefitting from cart releases these days are scalpers.
