I can't understand this logic. If you're a fan of the game and a fan of the developer why wouldn't you want to see them achieve success on other platforms too?

Considering even Sega has ported their Genesis/MD games to nearly every platform imaginable, including many owned by their former arch rival Nintendo, why wouldn't you expect modern developers to do the same?

Thanks a lot for the attention and for creating this project.
I've just pledged $15 for the game ROM (thanks for having that option too).

The kickstarter promo poster looks awesome by the way. Who designed it?

It could be interpreted the other way, i.e. complaining that other platforms are being ignored until after the fact.

Great, he seems to be very talented.

By the way, I found a very minor typo in your kickstarter page:

Phhffft 70 bucks for the complete version...isn't that a bit steep? Especially since other games on the website are only 50. ALs what is it with all the coffee crisis flogging. Did you guys do that game aswell?

^I guess that's a Mega Cat Studios thing, since they're the publishers.
My understanding is that Coffee Crisis is their in house product and so they try to push it along with the games developed by other teams.

As far as I gather it's common for them to launch games at $70 then lower the price later as the hype cools down (the price drop is to be expected for old products, to be fair).

I just backed Phantom Gear. Looking forward to watching how this game develops.
I'm hoping we get another Tanglewood Caliber game here

Having played the original demo, I'll most likely end up backing this game but that $40 tier just seems backwards and out of place. $15 gets you the game ROM (great), then $40 gets you a ROM/PDF Manual/OST &... a physical Coffee Crisis?

$50 gets you the Phantom Gear cartridge only.

Seems to me like the $40 should include the Phantom Gear Cartridge only with the $50 tier adding the Coffee Crisis ROM to it.

I went for the $70 tier with the physical boxed game...

Good luck with this, really looking forward to it.

    You clearly don't understand.

I can't speak on behalf of anyone else but I've invested my hard earned money in a Kickstarter or two in which a game was simply described as being released for only the MD only to have it be successful ... AND then an announcement is made shortly thereafter that the game will be released on a much more powerful console ... with updated graphics and better music. What a kick in the face to investors. You garner the support from the console's fan base and leave them with an inferior product. Thanks but no thanks.

That's the reason why I point blank asked if this game was being released on multiple platforms.
