I had no issues back in the day, But then again I don't need to run everything at the highest resoultion with all of the fancy graphics setting.
The smell of scorched oil hangs in the air as a premonition of danger, while the engine gloriously shouts its war cry...

Throughout history, suspicion has always bred conflict. The real conflict, though, resides in people's hearts. This conflict has just begun.

I'm very sorry "108 Stars".Even though you and me ussually agree, I slightly disagree with opinion on the ps2 version. I do like the keyboard and mouse support, but the only issue is that the loading times were every few minutes, LITERALLY each time i play i always wonder that if i turn the next corner if i'd get slammed with a 7 minute loading screen. and occansionally it won't stop loading, it just crashes. Overall, the ps2 is just a fair port. its definatly not the best but i like the pc version a lot better

Hmh, interesting. I donīt think it ever crashed when I played, but of course loading times may be disturbing (though 7 minutes is exaggerating; maximum loading time is 6 minutes 30 seconds!).
Well, for me the nicer visuals and the fact that sitting in front of a PC somewhat kills atmosphere for me were more important. But like always, it is a matter of taste.

Yeah, the loading times are quite horrible.

Especially if there's a bad alien guy jumping at you and then it starts with the 'LOADING' and have to wait for 3 minutes to shoot it.

I think the DC beta actually had shorter loads than the PS2? (The dev team promised near-instantaneous loads in a build shortly after the commonly circulated one.)
