Just stuff I got last couple weeks or so. Yes, That is the Dreamcast collected works. It's pretty good. Much like the Genesis collected works but I think the Genesis one was better. More interviews in this one, fewer illustrations. Now I look forward to a Saturn one!

How is Command & Conquer on the Saturn? I played the heck out of it on PC back in the day. Love that game soooo much!
I even like it more than Red Alert.

Technically I haven't gotten anything yet this year, but I hadn't posted these:



Both sealed. I was especially happy to get Gigawing for a decent price. I'd put off getting it while it was a $60 game, and then one day it was like everybody decided that they needed to ask at least double that amount for the exact same copies that already weren't selling.

On Black Friday I also picked up another Xbox 360 S and 4 controllers, because I'm like the one guy on the planet that cares about having an 8 player setup for Jimmie Johnson's Anything With An Engine. I try to tell people it's a good game, but I don't think they believe me.

My one gaming related Christmas gift was an Oregon Trail handheld from my sister. That was completely unexpected, and it's a good thing I didn't already have one since I had considered getting one a while ago.

Oh, and I also got one of these. I almost feel dirty for showing it off. Instead, I'll just poke the bear and brag that I got mine ordered within the first 100.

Another day another mecha game. I forgot the name of the person so my apologies but someone on this forum made me aware of this game since I'm a fan of the Assult Suit series and similar games. I got it on PC a couple of years ago. As soon as I learned a physical version was coming in a limited PA run (Switch is the only system it was avail on physically btw) I jumped at it. So thank you whoever suggested it.

So this came my way pretty suddenly.

For the first time I found a used Analogue Mega SG for sale on my local classifieds (Kijiji).

I had previously felt priced out of the Mega SG which would cost over $310 CAD with shipping to buy new; plus the risk of any duty.



Picked it up for $240 CAD (~$184 USD) and the guy threw in a free retro-bit 6-bitton control pad.



So still a lot of money to for a retro console but I'm really happy with the deal. I feel like this stranger gave me a bro deal.

Yes, it's all true... the Mega SG is truly amazing. Playing real Genesis carts on my HDTV look as sharp and crisp as emulation on PC.

But I have to say the RetroTink2x and RAD2x are not far behind with regards playing a Genesis on an HDTV. Both are very worth while products.

My local MicroCenter had this black HORI arcade stick on clearance for $50. I couldn't resist, even though I already had one in Red.
