The Pilot site says the game is in preorder. Is this not officially out? I'd like to buy it, but the site is causing some confusion.

Yes, it's already out ... at least for those who backed the kickstarter funds of the game.
Their priorities were for them first so may be that's why they haven't feel the need to update the store for now until all backers got the games.

Thanks for the info. I might just have to order one. Hopefully the wait won't be too long.

That packaging looks great. Has anyone received a North American/Genesis version of the Kick Starter Special edition? I've seen some copies of the black grid style with different artwork pop up on ebay but yet to see a red, Genesis version of the one pictured above.

It looks like pre-orders are available for the Limited Edition on Funstock:

    https://funstock.co.uk/collections/r...n-sega-genesis

I think that cover art looks awesome, better than the standard art I've seen. I'm also all for the black-grid style but disappointed Piko has chosen to use cardboard boxes instead of plastic clamshells Especially at a price of $103 +. The clamshell cases have kind of become the standard at this point for these contemporary releases. Looks like they'll be doing the same thing with the Stone Protectors game too.

That's great to hear! Funstock's website says, "Cardboard box with special edition artwork". It says cardboard box for all of the Genesis listings of Jim Power and Stone Protectors. That's why I thought that. Is that a typo on their part then?

Holy hell, 87.87! If it were like the best game for the Mega Drive I would think about it

Yeah...they do have a cheaper, standard version available too though.

Meanwhile, the Steam users still haven't gotten the Genesis version of the game.

Quoting for truth, and because it has been brought up in this thread before and not addressed. I got the Steam version a while back because they advertised the Mega Drive version as coming soon to the collection. Still waiting
