    Saturn Virtua Cop (Saturn)

The Saturn sports some great arcade conversions, and one of the best is Virtua Cop. It can be an exhilarating experience when played with the Stunner light gun, and anyone with the console needs to have this one in their library. A great port of a great game! One of my favorite games to play on my saturn as a kid. I didn't have the light guns, but it was still plenty fun with the controller. I also used to play the PC version with one of my friends. Rock-paper-scissors to see who gets to use the mouse instead of the arrow keys.

That "RELOAD RELOAD RELOAD RELOAD" voice clip is still burned in to my brain to this day.

I have the Saturn port but yet to play it. I keep forgetting to get the gun. I did play the game esp VC2 in Arcades a ton. During that time I sunk so many quarters in VC2 and VF2.

Life!? ... What console is that on?

The best Home Light gun game ever..It was the Arcade game in your home and the Saturn remixed music was utterly amazing. Plus it blew away Time Crisis on the PS for GFX and gameplay.

The flag AM#2 took after Daytona made them into a Saturn consumerdevelopment monster. I'm sure Yu GOD Suzuki enjoyed pushing the Saturn more than his Model 2 Arcade games.

Still one of my favorite games to play with the proper setup. A Saturn justifies itself with 2 Stunners and the 2 Virtua Cop games.

Freaking awesome game. Still fun to play even with the d-pad. However, Virtua Cop 2 is compatible with the 3D analog controller, and that is much better to use. So, when I do need a Virtua Cop fix, I usually go with the second game for that reason.

I've always loved light gun games and Virtua Cop, and it's sequel, are two of the best and certainly the best light gun games on the Saturn in my opinion. I strongly recommend that people play it as it was meant to be played however, on a CRT TV and with Sega's Stunner light gun, for real 90's arcade style blasting action!

They should have put it on Wii. It had a lot of Lightgun games along with some SEGA arcade ports like LA Machine Guns,House of the Dead series, Ghost Squad and such. Wii was pretty great as a return to the genre. They should bring some of these back with PS Move and Switch Joycons would work. Lightgun games have become a very obscure genre. They are just so damn fun.
