BTW the Fenrir can now make use of the original drive without removing it, using this...

I went with an SSD in my MODE as well but I only put a 256GB one in mine as that was twice the space I needed for my actual DC library to fit onto it. My only real issue with the MODE is the fact that we don't have the ability to move files between the SDcard and the internal SSD. I have a laserbear bracket in mine now and just don't feel like tearing it all down again to add more files back to the SSD. So... I keep hoping they will add that in at some point but it isn't looking too promising.
Yes I've complained about not being able to move files on the Discord, doubt that will ever get added. Furthermore, the covers database remains closed source I think, and they won't add any for prototypes or homebrew. So I came to the decision to just leave the static original library on the SSD 500GB, though I haven't finished curating my library yet! I bought a Laserbear 3D-printed brace and cover for the opening, which came with a microSD cable. I'm just going to use the card slot for homebrew and maybe prototypes too, since like I said you can't add artwork for them separately.
