    My version is probably older! It would suggest to me the line dithering has been removed? Either from the images or from the sprites.

    Seeing how much refunds are asked now by watching WM facebook page, it's obvious only 2 things can happen now...

    First : A big miracle, the game is really finished and investors will get it before 2019, everyone will be confidant.
    Second : the game on MD is currently at the state of developement showed at the "party", fonzie keep quiet, all the refund demands kill WM, the company is dead...

    Let's state the obvious, there is no way the game is finished.

    If the game was actually finished and what was shown at the party was just some kind of unforeseen technical issue, then the next day Fonzie would have released videos of the finished game to reassure everyone, clear everything up and keep orders coming. If you've worked that hard on a game for years and actually manage to complete it, then you can't possibly be satisfied after having publicly shown such a crippled demo. Fonzie's silence speaks for itself. It's all the proof we need.

    The company is dead anyway.
    After this the only way to keep the boat afloat, is to forgot any other crowdfunded project.
    He must make games with his own money, and sell when they are ready.

    WM can still generate some money, by selling the games they already have.
    I do not understand why they have completely stopped selling everything.
    I suppose also the other developers, like vetea, are not happy of that.

    In my opinion at this point the game will probably released for the 10th anniversary of itself.

    Well, it seems to have been removed in more recent versions of the game. But as far as Paprium is concerned, such details should be the least of our worries.

    That's what I mentioned earlier. All the old games are like that (remember Sagat, Haggar...), so it's not surprising.
    I can't see why it'd be for press purposes, personally...

    Making his bionic arm not flip when he turns around would take extra work. Either extra sprite parts (a lot of work), or clever color swapping (not much work but more restrictive).

    Playing most of my MD on NTSC CRT, I'm a big fan of vertical dither. It just looks so good, all the extra shades.
