Ha! Yeah, I pulled that ps2 out of the back room, she's a bit dusty. You should see the Atari 2600 Vader at the moment, sheesh. Need to do some tidying up back there. After some digging around, I found the smaller silver ps2 mini, so I'm using that one now, smaller footprint.

Anyway, I'm loving this retrotink thing. I have some of the Analogue consoles upstairs that are great on the modern tvs, but for older stuff like the Saturn and 3do especially, it's freaking awesome being able to hook them up to my main mancave tv and sit in my recliner to game. The last couple similar units I've tried either outright didn't work, or cut in and out. One of them (it was by monoprice I think) worked sometimes, but would randomly go from color to black and white. This retrotink thing is a bit more expensive, but it works. Plus, it has component input too which is great for ps2 and xbox. And while I have the s-video connector for Dreamcast, I actually normally use a VGA hookup with it and hook it to my PC monitor. Which is perfect for racing games in particular.

Basically, I like the convenience of using one main tv for gaming and movies and everything instead of having to use older tvs specifically for certain consoles. This thing gives my setup a lot more versatility.

I got myself a MiSTer and set it up. Currently using it for arcade, especially CPS1, games, TurboGrfx 16 and Neo Geo.

I've been running it on an LCD while setting up but finally tried it on the PVM yesterday, took a little bit of mucking around but it's all working and looking great.. well except the MegaCD core that looks messed up on the PVM.

The headphones are incredible too, hard to believe they're only 84 quid. Set up is awesome too, just like binding a pad to the Xbox

HADES is such a great game, I feel like it's a culmination of all the stuff that Supergiant has done so far.

I was picking up packing materials (from Staples) for a Ace Check Cashing place, when I decided to check out the office chairs. My current chair has cracks in the left arm rest and a crack was beginning to form on the seat part. What I thought was leather, was actually pleather, and this chair was given to my by an office manager of a Morgan Stanley. It was an executives chair, so I assumed it was all leather. I didn't purchase anything, because I was there to purchase stuff on my company card. I thought I'd wait, but I started thinking about getting a "Gaming" chair that was on sale. I returned to the store on my way home, and purchased the chair for what was marked as $159 ($40 off) and manager offered to give me a 3 year warranty for less than the purchasing price. They pulled a fast one, because I just checked the website, and they are marked down to $129. I can't complain though, because a lot of these chairs go for $200-$300.

A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."

Yes. The game is a giant giant pile of shit. Square Enix last few years keeps releasing worst games of the year contenders. The Quiet Man. Left Alive. Avengers and now Balan. SE would not even send review codes.

I'm almost willing to bet you haven't bought either Marvel or Wonderworld.
