Are they talking about the actual Mega Drive or a game running off of the Mega Everdrive PRO hardware?

I got a Mega Everdrive Pro recently, and it's freaking awesome. Not gonna replace my collection of carts, but I love the ability to try out rom hacks, demos, imports, use save states for practicing high-score attempts, etc. It's a great little accessory to have, and the Sega CD/Master System support is really nice. Bonus usb connection if you're in to dev. This little flashcart is really incredible.

I love it. Came so close to getting a Mega SD too. Duke Nukem 3D is going to be another really nice bonus.

Is there any big reason to not choose an Everdrive Pro over a Mega SD?

Besides the UI differences, I know that the Pro can do video playback.

Also, for those hacks that utilize CD audio for cartridge games, I heard that there was some compatibility issues with the Pro where the audio not looping correctly.

I wonder if those issues have been ironed out with updates now?
