Mobile Recommend me some good 90s TV shows

I've been on a 90s TV kick recently, especially Sci-Fi stuff. What are your favorites?

    Things I enjoy, among others:

    Babylon 5
    Highlander
    All Star Treks
    SeaQuest DSV
    X-Files
    Sliders
Lexx (why is this so good?)

I appreciate any recommendations (and any reasons why). Bonus points for obscure shows. And it doesn't exactly have to be 'high quality' (that's missing the point, right?).

StarGate SG-1 was pretty good. And speaking of StarGate, I also enjoyed watching another Richard Dean Anderson show, McGyver.
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."

X-Files was, and still is, one of my favourite TV shows of all time, but I see you're already a fan. Another series I highly recommend is the 90's reboot of The Outer Limits. That had many thought provoking episodes dealing with sci-fi concepts, and that intro...wow! It still freaks me out today. "Do not adjust your picture. We now control the signal..."

Some I'd go for that haven't been listed yet by the looks of it

    Quantum Leap
    New adventures of Superman
    Fresh Prince of Bel Air
    Farscape
    Buffy

And if you like British comedy I can't forget early Red Dwarf

    Red Dwarf is amazing.

If we're recommending comedies, Frasier is great.

Quantum Leap and Red Dwarf, defo but only series 1-6 of the latter, everything else is garbage.

    Also, 80s and 90s: Blackadder.

This one is at the top of my list, but I've never been able to get into it before. I was a big MacGyver fan.

Actually watching this one with the wife now! David Lynch is great.

OK, you stumped me here. Never heard of it, but it looks awesome. It's on Youtube, too.

Star Trek TNG, Star Trek Voyager, and Star Trek DS9 are the best shows I can think of, but it seems you already watched those.

X-files is great. Batman: The Animated Series is top-notch if you never watched it. Also, in the late 80's and into the 90's was Granada's Sherlock Holmes with Jeremy Brett - recommended.

Funny shows: Frasier was recommended above and I agree. I think Frasier is the #1 best written sitcom ever. I also very much enjoy the British show Keeping Up Appearances (its hilarious to us), and to a lesser degree I liked the Canadian show Red Green - both are nothing like American entertainment.

Other than that, I would recommend 1990's The Flash, just because it is such a unique show. It's typical episode structure is fairly dated and sometimes boring IMHO. The acting is hammy and talky at times. But it's The Flash! Super-speed, time travel, Mark Hamill as the Trickster, Captain Cold, etc. And you grow to enjoy all the main characters. It's a shame it didn't get another season but I love how CW and other media hasn't forgotten it.

One Step Beyond, TTZ, Outer Limits, Tales From the Darkside, Amazing Stories, etc....,

From the decade in question though? Tales From The Crypt and even The Hitchhiker (when it came back in syndication).
