Genesis Difference between "Sega Classics" and original Golden Axe?

So other than the cover of the clamshell, is there any actual difference between these releases? The cart and manual look to be exact.
    Is the PCB different?

The manual on the Classic one is even branded 1989 even though the outer case is 1992

The only difference I've been able to find is that the OG doesn't have all of the patent information on the back of the cart:

The actual ROM used is a newer revision, but I can't remember for the life of me what was changed.

The cutting room floor article covers the differences: https://tcrf.net/Golden_Axe_(Genesis)

It looks like it's easy to tell if it's the final revision because they changed the trademark symbol on the Sega logos.
