Default Best Sega Genesis games that never made it to the states?

In everyone's opinion, what are some of the best Genesis games that never got an NTSC-U release?

    My list would be:

    Pulseman
    Willy Wars
    Alien Soldier
(Technically were released in NTSC on the Sega channel if I remember correctly, but I'm not counting that!)

Yu Yu Hakusho - Makyou Toitsusen
    Colossus King
    Monster World IV

Alien Soldier for me is top 5 in the consoles library.

For something that hasn't been mentioned yet, The Misadventures of Flink, unless it doesn't count because of the Sega CD release.

Oh, and for a Meganet game, I really enjoy 16 Ton.

For the people with Everdrives, etc. I can't recommend exploring these titles enough. It's one of the best parts of the hobby, discovering these games in an approachable, inexpensive way.

^Well, if you're going to go that route and play European games on an NTSC console:

If I have to say only one game which hasn't been mentioned yet, it has to be Star Cruiser. It is technically remarkable for such an early game, the story is epic and the music fits it perfectly. It takes a bit of time to learn the controls, but once you've done that you're in for a ride of your life.

Never imagined that Cannon Fodder, Super Fantasy Zone and Zero Wing were never released as Genesis titles. What happened?

Not sure Americans will appreciate it, but Brian Lara Cricket is a bloody good game. Was Sensible Soccer ever released in the US?

No, but it's possible that one of them received a different title for the US market. Other than the FIFA games, which were fairly popular here, there were several other random games here and there. No other proper series though other than FIFA. Any other game was just a one off like World Championship Soccer or the World Cup game.

Isn't that crazy? All of those games were popular too. You'd think at the very least that Super Fantasy Zone would have gotten a release due to the original arcade and Master System games' popularity here. Cannon Fodder ended up on the Jag and 3do here, but the Super Nintendo version didn't get a US release either.

That game crossed my mind but I figured a cricket game could be divisive. Brian Lara 96 is a good game though

Maybe it's more associated with PC's, but the Mega Drive version of Worms, which was another highly popular game at the time, didn't get a Genesis release either.

The latter 2 have fan translations, so does anyone have any idea exactly how good the first 3 are? I know, it seems even in the case of those 2, Falcom seemed to put a lot more effort into their Mega Drive ports(this version of Lord Monarch being the only one with all the maps and a storied campaign mode, with Shining Force-like graphics/sound, for example, and the game was even ported to the PS1 without said campaign mode).

Panorama Cotton. Cool series, first game is my favorite.

Pound for pound, I would say Monster World IV is the game to have been missed-out on. Westone really made magic.
