Genesis 22+ New Sega Genesis & Megadrive Games in Development in 2022

There is some other cool stuff as well, like Phantom Gear, Big Evil Corporation's new project and some other projects I know of which haven't been announced yet .

That feel, when you anticipate new Mega Drive games and couldn't care less about the rest of the games industry.

So true, I've felt more excitement about that Affinity Sorrow video than any AAA titles of the last decade.

Same, same. It looks amazing and oh my days, the music! When the bagpipes kick in incredible that its being produced by a Megadrive.

Siks new title looks amazing too. Without meaning to be disrespectful I hope he gets in a proper artist and music composer as I had to pass on Arkagis due to the amateur artwork and migraine inducing music. No doubt Sik is massively talented and can push the hardware way beyond its apparent capabilities, but having a small team around him would elevate his game into the stratosphere, I feel.

Really excited about ZPF too, hope a Kickstarter campaign happens this year.

And some other projects you don't know of which haven't been announced yet . But I'm not confident mine will be completed this year. Or ever.

    Thanks!

For what it's worth, this music track is only for the demo/trailer. We still have a few surprises in store for the game, though

Had to look Affinity Sorrow up. So a very-long-term plan from 2011 is finally happening?

Yep, it's finally happening We've had a few false starts in the previous years, but those obstacles have been overcome now.

We're kickstarting it. We're planning a 2 year development, but hoping for a year and a half.

Its really nice to see people come out with new content for such an old system. Maybe I should start looking to buy more games again!

If you do, don't drag your feet. Most of the better new Genesis games released over the past few years cost a mint now.
