Digital release? Yuck.
Maybe I need to finish SCU already.
I wish the remastered versions blurred the dithered/mesh parts of the graphics, like the pipes in Chemical Plant Zone. Could leave the rest of the graphs fine and just make those the transparent effect.
Maybe when someone like Limited Run makes a physical copy, I'll buy it.
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."
Dude I saw this. It's like Sega is trying to read off EA's playbook. While this is hilarious the total lack of a physical copy of the game is a fucking hard pass.

Thanks Sega for making me realize I don't want to play Sonic in 16:9 that bad and am fine playing it now I have been for 30 years now, or even just on a raspberry pi.
That DLC chart is a disgrace. Can't wait to pay for the same games that I've paid for on Android, paid for on Sega Genesis & Mega Drive Classics Collection on PC, own on Genesis, owned on Saturn with Sonic Jam. Just make a freaking new 2D Sonic game already. Release Knuckles Chaotix. So dumb.
I'll wait until it gets on sale, especially for the Switch. For now, the classics on MD, CD on emulation and iPad and Mania on PS5 will fill "the void".
This really should have been a standalone release or Sonic 3 & Knuckles + Knuckles Chaotix remaster. The fact that it took ten years for the Android remakes to make it to PC is ridiculous, and then it is in this crappy package. I already own Mania and Sonic CD on PC, and Sonic 1 and 2 on Android. And all of them on Sega Mega Drive Collection. And I have a flashcart of Sonic 3 Complete. Who is this compilation really serving with this junk. Just make a new freaking game.
Let's be fair here. SEGA is releasing 4 30-year-old games they released on a thousand different systems for $50 plus DLC for 30-plus-year-old games and no true extras. TMNT is not only more games but games we have not seen re-released either at all and/or in many years plus extras like background and ONLINE MULTIPLAYER plus a PHYSICAL VERSION at a cheaper price.
I'm just happy (if done right) to get a physical copy of the original arcade game, plus the arcade version of Turtles in Time. Those 2 titles are easily worth $20 on their own.
