Full quality video clips of fmv from any CD games that they can provide would be a nice special feature. Like the animated Sonic CD cinema.

I agree, it was amazing the extra's one got with WD Lunar's on the PS, loved the interviews with GameArts staff. I also loved the extras one got Mega Drive Collection with all the interviews with SEGA staff or with the Rare staff in Rare replay. Sadly, I doubt we'll get that in the Mini's

I just hope SEGA is able to bring the Lunar's over or at the very least, just leave the Japanese versions on the Western Mini 2

Apparently there will be supply chain issues with the Genesis Mini 2, so this will likely become a scalper item.

That being said, at this point why buy one when original clean Genesis models are still fairly easy to come by.

And it sounds like us Sega fans in Europe wonít get a look in sadly as I was excited for this as the model 2 is what Iíve had since I was a kid.

I pre-ordered the Japanese version when it was announced and have been hoping for a European release too. It's a shame if they don't do one but doesn't look promising given the lack of updates.

How much has that set you back including postage if you donít mind me asking? It just seems odd to me that America get a look in but we donít? I would want the Lunar games but if we did get a PAL version I assume they wouldnít be included as the games were never released here.

I've pre-ordered through amazon.co.jp and cost including postage is just over •13000 or £85.

EDIT: just checked and new pre-orders are currently unavailable but that may change at some point

I was going to say that's not too bad but I guess as they have a tenth of the stock that they've been snatched up! Thanks for letting me know though!

That's a very exclusive Japanese list of games, hope we at least get Robo Aleste here too.

Thanks for the info. Was hoping for more action oriented games, but maybe on the North American version...

Also, was this announcement a little late, since I was expecting the 4th wave announcement last Friday?

Robo Aleste. That's enough for me. Costs more to buy that game on its own than the Mega Drive Mini 2 so I'm in.

The announcements for the mini 2 seem to be made randomly whereas I'm sure for the first mini they were at regular intervals.
