Someone may have ask this before somewhere along the line, wanted to know what were the largest official games that were released so i know for the sega megadrive for instance it would be Super Street Fighter 2 32MB (easy as it is written on the box) and of course there were a few others, i wondered if anyone knew what the Game Gear titles were?

SSF2 on MD is 40 mega (which is wahts written on the box) not 32. 32 is the limit without using a mapper. the only official one on the system was specifically designed for the only game that surpassed the 32 mega limit, hence its name, SSF mapper.

As for the GG I dont know if it used mappers. but I'm guessing YES, because the Master System had a rom limit of 4 mega (512kb) and tectoy released 8 mega games in Brazil of the SMS, so probably 4 mega is also the limit for GG games without using a mapper.

EDIT: wait, the cpu present in SMS & GG only supports 48KB without mappers so almost every game (except for sega card games) used one. I don't know why and how they stated a limit of 4 mega for the SMS then, as there are 8 meg games released officially in Brazil.
