Sega Dreamcast vs Nintendo Switch in terms of game genres part 1

Hi this is my very first post in a series of post called Sega Dreamcast vs Nintendo Switch in terms of game genres and I am starting it with one that is very strong on one but very weak on the other so lets begin!

In terms of platformers which system has the stronger/better game library and why Sega Dreamcast vs Nintendo Switch?

To participate in this topic post your two cents and give a reason why either the Dreamcast and/or Nintendo Switch is better in that category for X and Y reasons so enjoy!

This is like comparing a Tesla to a Chevrolet C5 Corvette from 1999.

The only genre Dreamcast wins at is 2D fighters because it has every classic one. I don't even own a Switch and I know it beats the Dreamcast in every other category.

I agree the only two genres the Sega Dreamcast beats out Switch is fighting games and Sports games as everything else is in Switch favor for the most part!

I think the Switch is going to win most genres since it has around 4500 games while the Dreamcast has around 650 or so.

Only area I think DC tops Switch in terms of genre is Sports sims. Switch doesn't have any Madden/NFL games. DC had NFL2K.
