Dynamite Duke

There's something to be said about straight-up shooters. I'm not talking about the "lone pilot vs. invading aliens" classics. No, I mean one guy with a BIG gun just squeezing the trigger until the vibrations stop! Dynamite Duke appears to be the game to fit the bill in this regard, until you actually play it. Aren't explosions and big armament supposed to invoke some kind of a response? Shock and awe, meet your evil twin. Read our full review and leave your testosterone at the door.

This game is indeed very easy to beat.
I like its whole structure though. I really dug blowing those power punches against the bosses.

Whenever I play this, I like to pretend the main character is Duke Nukem: His name is Duke, he has the same hairstyle, he dresses a little bit like him and he's as trigger happy: "Your face, your ass, what's the difference?"

A game that simply plays its part as an arcade port to deliver a brief amount of entertainment. The boss fights are lots of fun.

Good game! It always gave me a GI Joe vibe. The main character looks like duke and I'll be damned if the enemy doesn't look like Cobra tele-vipers, red ninjas and crimson guardsmen.
