    Default WWF RAW

More wrasslin' action coming your way! Acclaim went WWF mad on the Genesis during the '90s, and each of its games had its own particular level of quality. How does WWF RAW compare to the rest of the bunch. Well friend, you'll just have to read our full review to find out!

You know who loves Vinny? This guy

I just sent in my review of WWF RAGE IN THE CAGE, and it works perfectly with this review. Completely agree with this on every level, and I also had the same shock when discovering how many wrestlers had died.

The 32X version of RAW is definitely the best version and the best playing of all the 16-Bit WWF games.

"Rage In the Cage" happens to have the best roster of all the 16-Bit WWF games, but lacks tag-team gameplay.

Even still, these Acclaim wrestling games have aged BADLY with their repetitive gameplay. Pass on all of them.

When I can I plan on actually getting 32X Raw and actually reviewing a damn 32X game!

Oh, and Rage in the Cage pisses me off. Huge roster, TWO MATCH TYPES!

Anyone has the JP version of this game, complete? I'll pay you $50 for it.

A very good game in the day, but I just find its aged poorly, wrestling games just haven't lasted the pace imo... Good review though vinnie!
"Age badly is something women do, games are good or bad when they are released. "

"It's like watching Runic stones by vikings here in Täby: not beautiful compared to Mona Lisa, but damn fine stuff for their time, as Phantasy Star II is, and that is why I enjoy it."

Zebbe speaks on the quality of how 16-bit games hold up against modern counterparts 28/07/07 beautiful

Will always remember Royal Rumble as my fave, perhaps because I was moving onto PC's more and the PSX when I heard about Monday Night RAW.

Great review Vince. I personally own Raw for the SNES (slightly crisper graphics, I think, and I didn't have a 6 button Genny controller) but it doesn't matter. I have Super WM and Royal Rumble for both SNES and Genesis simply because of the different rosters, but since Raw has the same roster, I didn't need to get it twice.

...Though now my OCD is making me want to get Raw for the Genesis simply for completist's sake...
