The late 90s is a time best forgotten, ugh,so many movies about presidents and bodyguards and serial killers.
And sometimes combined! where the main character was the bodyguard having to protect the president from a serial killer.

New Indiana Jones? nehhh lets have Harrison Ford protect the president! and then in the next one HE'LL BE THE PRESIDENT!! *pant* *pant*

Honestly, the late 90s was depressing compared to the late 80s.

Harrison Ford should not be playing another Indiana Jones and should have bowed out gracefully after The Last Crusade.

Unfortunately Indy has not been put to pasture.

I wanted to like the Crystal Skull, but I couldn't.

I find it interesting that almost any movie / TV show etc, from almost any era you can think of, and most specifically current stuff, uses 1970s' video game sound effects when characters play video games.

I can understand it when it was a generational thing, like that the writers of the shows were Atari players in their youth, but it seems to have become the language or shorthand that conveys instantly that we are seeing a videogame being played.

Last decade or so that's less of a thing. You will see Diablo or Mortal Kombat an MMO or Fortnite. Also racing games. However, they sometimes say some gibberish that makes no sense.

    Life?!...What console is that on?

True, but the thing that prompted my post is my little lad was watching a new Transformers cartoon this am and the trope reared its head.

Wow, until I saw this photo I haven't realized how dead and buried Kevin Spacey's career is. He is hanging out in Zagreb with a Croatian film director who is a synonym for trashy turd, and nobody worth anything would hang out with that incompetent loser. So RIP Kevin.

If somebody made a tape cassette player/recorder for the mega drive, would you use it?

Yes, but only if it maintains the Genesis/MD aesthetics. don't want no purple/pink/yellow monstrosity laying next to my beloved MD.

I've bought 2 Retro-bit, clear blue genesis 6 buttons and they were both faulty. Then I ordered a 3rd one. Isn't it the definition of insanity when you do the same thing over and over again and expect a different result?

I'm still passively hunting for the Plus Deck 2 drive for PC. I don't super want it, but I already have a bunch of legacy media drives with removable storage. Also, blue and white bezel? Feh. What's wrong with basic black?

I grown apathetic towards people making debates over entertainment medium on the internet, as if it has intrinsic value in their lives, it's not meant to improve your personal life , or whatever you people on the internet going for yourselfs,
